OCAP Student Intern
Under the supervision of the Air Resources Supervisor I of the Program Assessment and Reporting Section (Section), the Student Intern (SI) will develop, or support the development of, multimedia approaches and products to communicate quantitative and qualitative implementation progress information collected across AB 617 communities. They will also support Section manager and staff to develop tools, scripts, databases, maps, and data visualizations tools to support various Programmatic needs. The SI will work independently, or with a team, to develop or edit videos, flyers, printed material or StoryMaps as needed. They will also develop simple online databases and spreadsheets to collect information to foster Program transparency and accountability. The SI will also use their familiarity with available datasets to generate community profiles and maps and produce short narratives.
Who can apply: Current students attending an accredited college or university in Southern California for the Summer quarter/semester. This is an in-person, unpaid internship and students are required to earn course credit to be eligible for placement.
