STCD Transit Benefits Student Intern

Under the supervision of an Air Resources Supervisor I, the intern will perform various research, reviews, and assessments to support substantiation of direct, meaningful, and assured benefit claims to priority populations for transit-related projects funded by the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Tasks include, but are not limited to, performing literature reviews and data collection, conducting data and geospatial analyses, and coordinating internally and with State agencies funding transit-related projects, as needed. While many tasks may be completed remotely, there may be occasions when in-person attendance is preferred or required.

The ideal candidate has a background in transportation, city planning, public health, environmental science, engineering, or statistics; a passion for environmental justice; and a strong ability to communicate technical information.
