MSLD PEMS Student Intern

The student intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in vehicle testing using an advanced Portable Emissions Measurement System (PEMS). They will apply engineering principles and scientific methodology to evaluate emissions equipment performance, analyze test data, and contribute meaningful insights to optimize and improve vehicle emission testing procedures. 

Area of Study: We are looking for candidates with a major in engineering, physics, chemistry, or environmental science. 

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach, while strictly following safety protocols and industry best practices in a vehicle emissions testing environment. Success in this role requires adaptability in a fast-paced setting, a genuine passion for learning, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A solid foundation in engineering and scientific principles, particularly as applied to complex systems, is highly valued.
