MSLD ORPEMS Student Intern

The student intern will gain hands-on experience in emissions testing, instrument maintenance, and data management using tools like Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, and Excel. They will also develop an understanding of regulatory programs aimed at reducing air pollution and collaborate with technical staff and external agencies. This internship offers valuable technical, regulatory, and professional experience that prepares students for careers in environmental science and public sector work. 

Area of Study: Candidates majoring in computer science, engineering, physics, or chemistry.

The ideal candidate is studying a STEM-related field and has an interest in air quality and emissions testing. They should be skilled in problem-solving, data management, Microsoft Office, and basic programming. Attention to detail, teamwork, and comfort with hands-on technical work and occasional travel are also important.
